How the Booking Process Works
Step 1: Initial Inquiry — Contact us via WhatsApp or email with your preferences. Our charter consultant responds with initial options within hours.
Step 2: Custom Proposal — We design a tailored proposal including vessel selection, detailed itinerary, inclusions, and transparent pricing based on your specific requirements.
Step 3: Confirmation — Once you approve the proposal, a 30% deposit secures your dates and vessel. We provide a detailed booking confirmation and pre-trip information pack.
Step 4: Pre-Trip Planning — Two weeks before departure, we finalize dietary preferences, activity priorities, special requests, and logistics including airport transfers and accommodation recommendations.
Step 5: Embark — Arrive in Labuan Bajo or your departure port. Our team meets you at the airport and transfers you directly to your phinisi. Your adventure begins.
Office Hours and Location
Our charter operations office is located in Labuan Bajo, Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), Indonesia — the gateway to Komodo National Park and the main embarkation point for most of our voyages.
Office Hours: Monday through Saturday, 08:00 to 20:00 WITA (UTC+8). Sunday hours are limited but WhatsApp messages are monitored for urgent inquiries.
Time Zone Note: WITA is 1 hour ahead of Bangkok/Jakarta (WIB), the same as Singapore/Perth, and 8 hours ahead of London (GMT). When contacting us from North America, our morning hours overlap with your late evening.

Getting to Labuan Bajo
Labuan Bajo is the primary departure point for Komodo National Park phinisi charters. The town is served by Komodo Airport (LBJ) with daily flights from Bali Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS) taking approximately 90 minutes, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta (CGK) with direct flights of approximately 2.5 hours, and Surabaya Juanda (SUB) with connections available. Airlines serving Labuan Bajo include Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Citilink, and Wings Air. We recommend booking flights at least 2-3 weeks in advance during peak season (April through August) as routes to Labuan Bajo fill quickly.
Our airport transfer service is included with every charter booking. A member of our team meets you at the arrivals hall with a Phinisi Charter sign and drives you directly to the harbor where your vessel is moored — approximately 10 minutes from the airport. If you arrive the day before your charter, we can recommend quality hotels in Labuan Bajo ranging from boutique properties to waterfront resorts, ensuring you are rested and ready for your voyage.

Yes. All charters are confirmed with a 30% deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards. Full details are in our pricing page.
