There is no minimum guest requirement for a private charter — you can book an entire phinisi for just two people. The pricing is per vessel per night (not per person), so smaller groups pay the same nightly rate as a full vessel. This makes private charters particularly good value for groups of 6–12 who can split the cost while enjoying exclusive use of the yacht.
Yes, full itinerary customization is a core feature of private charters. You choose the destination, route, daily activities, meal times, and pace. Our charter consultants create a draft itinerary based on your preferences, which you can modify before and during the voyage. The captain adjusts the route based on weather conditions and your real-time preferences.
For peak season (June–September, December–January), we recommend booking 3–6 months in advance, especially for premium and superyacht vessels which have limited availability. Shoulder season bookings can often be confirmed 4–8 weeks ahead. Last-minute bookings (1–2 weeks) are sometimes possible for classic phinisi during low season.
Cancellations made 60+ days before departure receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. 30–59 days: 50% refund. Less than 30 days: no refund (the deposit is non-refundable). We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations. Date changes are accommodated subject to vessel availability at no additional charge if requested 30+ days ahead.
We do not sell travel insurance directly but strongly recommend all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical evacuation, and personal liability.
